Proheat Engine Heater - 3-6 gal, Model 1325
Proheat Model 1325 | Heavy-Duty Fluid Reservoir & Oil Pan Heater (500W)
The Proheat Model 1325 is a high-capacity heating solution designed for large-scale engines and industrial fluid reservoirs. Delivering 500 Watts of power, this heater ensures that vital fluids like oil, diesel, and hydraulic fluid remain at optimal temperatures to prevent cold-start wear and system sluggishness in extreme weather.
Key Features
-
High Output: Provides 500 Watts and 4.2 Amps of consistent heating power.
-
Large Surface Area: Measuring 7" x 5", this pad is designed for larger pans and tanks.
-
Low Profile: The ultra-thin .08" thickness allows for installation in tight spaces.
-
Standard Power: Includes a 6-foot power cord compatible with standard 120 Volt outlets.
Application Guide
This model is specifically rated for high-volume fluid capacities:
| Fluid Type | Tank/Reservoir Capacity |
| Engine Oil | 3–6 Gallons (12–25 Litres) |
| Diesel Fuel | 40–60 Gallons |
| Hydraulic Fluid | 20–50 Gallons |
| Water | 50–100 Gallons |

Installation Tips
IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING: Do NOT apply silicone, debris, dirt, or any material between the heater pad and the mounting surface. Any gap between the heater and the oil pan or reservoir can cause improper heat transfer, overheating, and may result in fire, damage to the vehicle, or personal injury. The heater pad must be applied directly to clean, bare metal.
Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sand the reservoir or oil pan to clean, bare metal. Remove all oil, paint, rust, and debris.
Application: Peel off the backing and apply the heater pad directly to the reservoir or oil pan. Apply firm, even pressure.
Sealing: Use high-temperature silicone (such as Permatex 77BR or equivalent) to seal only the outer edges of the pad. Do not allow silicone to migrate underneath the heater.
Wiring: Route the power cord to a safe, secure location away from moving parts, sharp edges, or extreme heat sources.
Cold Weather Tip: Warm the mounting surface before installation (run the engine or use a heat gun). Keep the heater pad warm during application for maximum adhesion. A helpful tip is to plug the heater in for approximately 5 seconds prior to application.
